miso & sesame glazed salmon

miso-easy | serves 2 | prep time 30 minutes | cook time 20 minutes


  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1cm piece fresh ginger
  • 1 large salmon fillet
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 handful shredded greens
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sliced spring onion to serve

    In small bowl, mix the marinade ingredients together: soy sauce or tamari, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic and the miso'easy traditional sachet.

  • step 2

    Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets into a larger bowl or tupperware. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes but no longer than 1 hour.

  • step 3

    Take the marinated salmon out of the fridge. Add the coconut oil to a frying pan and fry the salmon on both sides, until slightly golden & cooked through. Set aside.

  • step 4

    Add a little more coconut oil to the same pan and throw in your shredded spring greens. Fry gently until softened slightly.

  • step 5

    Serve the miso & sesame salmon on your bed of greens. Sprinkle some sesame seeds & sliced spring onion on top to serve.
